Thanks for visiting Naloxone at Home. Before you sign up for our services or request a naloxone kit, please take a moment to read these terms carefully. They explain how we provide our services and outline our shared responsibilities in supporting your health and safety.
About Our Services
Naloxone at Home is operated by a community pharmacy accredited by the Ontario College of Pharmacists, under the Ontario Naloxone Program for Pharmacies (ONPP). We focus on harm reduction and preventive care. Naloxone kits and the training that goes with them are provided at no cost to you.
Enrollment and Support
To receive a naloxone kit and related resources, you enrol as a patient of Cloud Pharmacy. This lets us provide personalised care, keep the record the program requires, and meet our legal and professional obligations.
Home Delivery Eligibility
Naloxone kits must normally be provided from the physical premises of the pharmacy. If you are unable to attend in person — because of health, mobility, distance, or because you live in a long-term care home or another congregate setting — you may qualify for delivery to a valid address in Ontario. With this service we include live, personalised training from a pharmacist so you know how to use your kit safely and effectively. That training is given in real time by telephone or videoconference, or in person where that is possible, and it follows the Ontario Naloxone Program for Pharmacies.
The website does not accept the order
Submitting the form on this website creates a reservation. The order itself is accepted by a pharmacist, in real time, on the telephone or videoconference call — never by this website, and never by email or text message. That is how the program requires it to work, and it is why the call happens before anything is packed.
Your Responsibilities
A naloxone kit only works if it is used the way you are shown. Please keep it somewhere you can reach quickly, check the expiry date, and replace it if it is used or expired. Tell us if your address changes before the kit arrives.
Limitation of Liability
We are responsible for providing professional pharmacy services with reasonable skill and care, and that responsibility is not something a page on a website can reduce. Nothing here limits your rights under Ontario law, and nothing here limits a pharmacist’s professional obligations to you. What we can say is what is true: naloxone is not a cure for an overdose, it is a way of buying time until paramedics arrive, and it must always be used together with a 911 call.
Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy matters to us. We collect only what the Ontario Naloxone Program requires, we keep it confidential under PHIPA and PIPEDA, and only the people involved in your care can see it. Full detail is on our privacy page.
Quality and Safety
Every kit is assembled to the contents list published by the Ministry of Health, from stock bought through a licensed wholesaler, and is checked before it is sealed. We review our practice against the College’s standards and the program’s requirements.
Emergency Situations
Our service is about being prepared and does not replace emergency medical care. If you are dealing with an overdose or any medical emergency, call 911 immediately.
